About Tees by Tanya

It started with a few shirts. Then it kind of took on a life of its own.

Hi, I’m Tanya.

Tees by Tanya started because I love creating things.

My brain is basically always coming up with another idea, another shirt, another phrase or another project, so opening a little apparel shop made perfect sense. I originally started with graphic tees inspired by things I actually cared about: recovery, faith, humor, life and whatever else made me think, “Okay, I would totally wear that.”

And then people started asking me to make other things.

  • A shirt for an event.
  • Something for a team.
  • Apparel for a business.
  • A sweatshirt for a group.
  • A completely custom design.

And somewhere along the way, Tees by Tanya became a whole lot bigger than a graphic tee shop.

Apparel for real life

Today, Tees by Tanya is a mix of the things I love creating and the things you ask me to create.

You’ll still find graphic tees, sweatshirts and collections that are personal to me, but you’ll also find custom apparel, business clothing, team and organization orders, event merch and pieces created specifically for communities.

Some orders are one shirt.

Both matter to me.

The business side grew naturally

I’ve spent most of my career in sales, marketing, real estate and community work, so when businesses started asking me for apparel, I realized pretty quickly how much I loved that side of this too.

And I knew I didn’t want it to feel like the traditional “pick a polo from a giant catalog and slap your logo on it” experience.

Good branded apparel should actually be something people want to wear.

So whether you need shirts for five employees, elevated embroidered pieces for your team, apparel for an event, or an entire company store, the goal is the same: make your brand look really good.

Small business still matters here

Even as Tees by Tanya grows, I never want it to lose the part that made it fun in the first place.

  • I care about the shirt.
  • I care about the design.
  • I care whether the color looks right.
  • I care if your logo is too small, too big or would look better embroidered somewhere completely different.

And yes, I will probably tell you if I think we can make it better.

That’s the advantage of working with a small business. You’re not just order #48271 going through a giant production line.
